We are the Power of the People.

The Freedom Run is a community event designed to uplift West Oakland and mobilize thousands toward a healthier, more equitable future.

The Wellness Festival will begin at 9.30AM and run until 2PM at Raimondi Park in Oakland.

The Black Panther Party Alumni Legacy Network (BPPALN) upholds the legacy of the original Black Panther Party by creating community initiatives and modern-day survival programs encompassing the fields of holistic medicine, education, food welfare, senior care, and historical preservation.

Through this Community Wellness Festival we aim to showcase the solidarity and power of our community who provides real, free, tangible services to Oakland families.

  • We want to feed people when we are approaching drastic changes within food accessibility.

  • We want to bring people together, with ample resources to make things work with consistent support, and learn not just survive, but thrive.

  • We want to fund the ‘Window to the World’ program, giving the gift of expansion, adventure, knowledge, and know-how to the youth of today.

  • We want you to know: we are stronger together.

Applications for 2026 Community Service Providers is now closed.

We welcome you to join us at the Festival, treat yourself, and activate with our kind providers, partners and sponsors listed below!
